About Achievement Chains

What is this?

Achievement Chains is a small project for turning Steam achievements into routes you can follow. Instead of staring at one huge achievement list, you can build or follow a chain: a path of milestones, notes, and goals for a game.

Why chains?

Some games have hundreds of achievements, and it is not always obvious what you should do first, what depends on what, or how to reach a final goal without getting lost. Chains make that journey more visual and a little more intentional.

Can I make my own?

Yes. You can make chains for yourself, share them with others, and track progress through the achievements in that chain.

What else is planned?

I would like to add community goals, saved or followed chains, favorites, comments, feeds, and better social features around achievement hunting.

Is this open source?

Yes. The source code is available at jane-natucci/achievements.

Who made this?

I'm Jane, someone who likes Steam achievements and wanted them to feel more like meaningful journeys. For questions and suggestions you can find me on GitHub.
